How Much Water Should You Really Drink Daily? (Science vs Myths)

You've heard it a hundred times. Eight glasses a day. Three litres. Half your body weight in ounces. Everyone has a number and everyone swears by it. But here's the thing, science tells a slightly different story. 

The actual science behind daily water intake 

Your body needs roughly 2 to 2.5 litres of water a day, and that includes water from food, fruits, vegetables, and beverages, not just what you drink straight from a glass. The exact amount varies based on your body weight, activity level, climate, and health conditions. There is no universal magic number.

What your body is genuinely good at is regulating itself. When you need water, your body gives you signals. When you have enough, your kidneys filter the rest out. It's a system that's been working since the beginning of human existence. 

The myths that need to go
